Kinja'd!!!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good stud extractor?

Some needs.

1. Needs to be able to be used within an engine bay so it cannot be really long.

2. Needs to be reasonably priced.(I want to pull my studs out successfully, but I also don't need a diamond encrusted stud extractor to do it.)

3. Needs to be a quality tool. No HF junk.

4. I would prefer not to drill/ez out them if I can avoid it.

Thanks.

is the stud broken off? how much do you have to work with? Could you weld something to it? Welders are great multi use tools! Get a welder!

SAE or metric? This is metric.

I know a few have enough to grab a hold of with some vice grips or a stud extractor and some I will have to drill out, but I'd rather only drill the ones I HAVE to drill.

Broken stud or pulling one out intact?

Cheap or expensive doesn't matter. The stud will break first

Broken. Some have enough to grasp, some will require drilling, I'd rather drill only the ones I have to.
